We are hiring a senior online content marketer in the marketing team to help realize the big ambitions of this scale up organization. Job Dynamics

As an experienced content marketeer, you are building the 50five story on all sorts of channels and via all types of content. You talk to internal stakeholders to learn about what they need and come up with creative and pragmatic content to support them. You know how an online user thinks and you choose the right channel for your content. You are looking for data to support your ideas or generate new ideas from. You can spar with other specialist colleagues, like for example; the SEA specialists, a Visual designer, UX professional, SEO specialist and the marketing manager, to upgrade your work even more.
You are aware that you work in a dynamic e-commerce retail environment. Things move fast and change fast. You adapt easy and therefore have a pragmatic approach to get things done and live asap. You see things through and are critical in working on the right things that really help the stakeholders realizing their business goals today!

What are your key responsibilities?

  • Keep a consistent brand story and look and feel with all content you create.
  • Define your own work, based on the marketing and SEO roadmap.
  • Deliver quality (SEO proof) content like, blogs, socials posts, landing pages, video scripts and videos, emails, campaign banners etc.
  • Monitor the performance of published content. Upgrade well performing content and eliminate old nonperforming content.
  • Increase the value of the Email channel, by setting up a roadmap and monitor on KPI’s. Grow the email-base, create good (commercial) emails.
  • Provide high performance campaigns that stimulate turn over and/or leads.

Daily activities that you will love to do:

  • Creation of product content (descriptions) and related marketing campaigns.
  • Setup campaigns by creation of landing pages, banners etc. (wire framing, design and content).
  • Creation of product (lister) pages, category pages, homepage (banners), etc.
  • Creation of SEO proof content and monitoring results (e.g. via Google Analytics and SEMrush).
  • Designing banners, product visuals or other marketing materials.
  • Blogging, articles, shopping guides, comparisons, based on SEO data and insights.
  • Email; set up a roadmap, planning, managing stakeholders, results and execution.
  • Continuous optimization and active management of all sorts of content.
  • Perform quality checks on the websites, take action when issues are raised.
  • Evaluate campaign results with campaign manager and share general insights.
  • Visiting exhibitions related to your target domains and target groups to be 1st in market.
  • Investigating needs from stakeholders, identifying priorities, planning and communication to management.

You feel comfortable in an international environment where everything changes fast. You are a self-starter but don’t hesitate to ask for help when something is unclear. 


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce environment
  • Experience with Magento 2 (Page builder), Adobe Photoshop (Sketch), Mailchimp and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with data tools like Google Analytics and SEO tools (SEMrush) is a strong benefit
  • Experience in retail is a benefit
  • Experience with Agile work methods is a benefit
